Velo-city 2013 Goes GREEN!

Velo-city 2013 aims to receive the Austrian Eco-label for Green Events, which is a quality certification that acknowledges products and services with low environmental impact. The most important criteria to be met concern mobility, CO2 emissions, accommodation, event locations, material and waste management, as well as catering and social aspects. For us to receive the certification, we need your support!

Technical Excursions VC 2013

Register for Excursions Now!

Velo-city Vienna 2013 is offering several optional Technical and Cultural Excursions before and after the official conference programme. These excursions will enable participants to witness the most recent and important urban cycling achievements in Vienna, as well as cultural highlights and the Viennese urban bicycle culture. There is limited space available for the excursions so we advise you to decide quickly and register for your preferred cycling tour of Vienna.

New Speakers for Velo-city 2013

New speakers have been confirmed for Velo-city 2013. Amongst them is Siim Kallas, Vice-President of the European Commission, who will participate in the panel discussion on “Mobility Policies & Cycling in the European Union and Its Member States”. European Parliament Members Michael Cramer and Mathieu Grosch as well as Ulrich Syberg, head of the German Cycling Federation (ADFC), will also join this panel. In addition, we can confirm that the Vice Mayor of the City of Ljubljana, Janez Koželj, as well as the Vice Mayor of Gda?sk, Maciej Lisicki, will be sharing their insights into political support for urban cycling in a podium discussion on "Cycling and Urban Development: A Political Podium Discussion".
